  • 4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour (divided)
  • 6 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/3 cup strawberry jam
  • 2 cups diced strawberries
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced strawberries

Instructions

  1. In a stand mixer, combine warm milk and yeast; let sit for 3 minutes. Add eggs, melted butter, salt, and sugar.
  2. Mix in 4 cups of flour until just combined; let rest for 5 minutes.
  3. Switch to a dough hook and knead until smooth (about 5-7 minutes). Let rise in a greased bowl for about 30 minutes.
  4. Prepare filling by mixing cream cheese and strawberry jam until creamy.
  5. Roll out dough into a rectangle (24×15 inches) on a floured surface. Spread the filling and sprinkle diced strawberries.
  6. Roll tightly from one edge, slice into 12 pieces, and place in a greased baking pan.
  7. Let rise for another 20 minutes. Preheat oven to 350°F while waiting.
  8. Pour warmed heavy cream over rolls before baking for about 25 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Prepare frosting by mixing powdered sugar, salt, vanilla extract, softened cream cheese, and diced strawberries until spreadable.
