Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Add the eggs one at a time and mix in the vanilla extract until combined.
  3. Gradually stir in flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt; beat well for about 60 seconds.
  4. Chill the dough for at least an hour in the refrigerator.
  5. Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  6. Roll dough into balls, coat in granulated sugar, and place on the baking sheet with space between each cookie.
