  • 1 can tomato sauce (8 oz)
  • 1/4 cup tomato paste
  • 4 cups low sodium beef broth
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 6 uncooked lasagna noodles (broken)
  • 8 ounces ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. In a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef with diced onion until fully cooked. Add minced garlic and sauté for an additional minute before draining excess fat.
  2. Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, beef broth, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a boil.
  3. Add broken lasagna noodles and reduce heat slightly; cook for about 10 minutes until noodles are tender. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
