  • 1 pound chicken sausage (sliced)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 cups broccoli florets (frozen or fresh)
  • 10 ounces frozen tortellini
  • 1 can petite diced tomatoes (1415 oz, undrained)
  • 1 can tomato sauce (8 oz)
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 tablespoon basil
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sliced chicken sausage and sauté until browned, about 5 minutes. Stir in minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  2. Add broccoli florets, frozen tortellini, diced tomatoes (with juice), tomato sauce, chicken broth, basil, and oregano to the skillet.
  3. Bring to a simmer; cover and cook for about 7-8 minutes until broccoli is tender.
  4. Stir in Parmesan cheese, cream cheese, salt, and pepper to taste until well combined.
  5. Lower the heat and cook for another 3-5 minutes until everything is heated through.
