  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 12 oz wide egg noodles
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 3 oz cream cheese
  • 24 oz marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the egg noodles in salted boiling water until al dente (about 1–2 minutes less than package directions). Drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef and chopped onion until no longer pink. Drain excess fat and add garlic salt and marinara sauce; simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine sour cream and softened cream cheese until smooth.
  5. In a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, layer half the noodles, then the cream mixture, followed by half the meat sauce. Repeat layers and top with cheddar cheese.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes; remove foil and bake an additional 10–15 minutes until golden.
