  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 1/2 lb chicken breast
  • 1 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp thyme
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 12 oz gluten free farfalle pasta
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 2 tsp dry shallots
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp Gluten Free 1:1 Flour
  • 3 cups heavy cream
  • 12 oz shredded parmesan
  • 1/4 cup pasta water
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Boil water in a large pot and cook the gluten-free farfalle pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, mix paprika, oregano, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and black pepper. Season the chicken breasts with this spice blend.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat; sear seasoned chicken for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Cook further with the lid on until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and stir in dry shallots and garlic powder. Add gluten-free flour, chicken broth, and heavy cream; whisk until smooth.
  5. Gradually incorporate shredded Parmesan into the sauce until melted; add cooked pasta and toss to combine.
  6. Slice seared chicken and mix into the pasta before serving.
